IBK–SAFE–H® Sealing System

Secondary friction connection seal

Developed by IBK Wiesehahn, the secondary friction connection seal with H-profile has created an area of application in the industrial branch.
The successfull conzept of “secondary friction connection” is based on the separation of bracing and sealing.
Every functionary of the seal meet only one function. The seal is made of hard metal-profile and elastic sealing-material.
The sealing-material is measured, that after reaching the block storage, the recovery behavior fully exists.
A overpress of the sealing-material is basically excluded.

Type IBK – SAFE-H® „HZ“ and „OZ“

Seals according Type SAFE-H® „HZ“ will be centred with the outer diameter of the flange.
Seals according Type SAFE-H® „OZ“ will be centred with the screws.

The mounted hooks and lugs are simultaneously helps for a better handling and ensure the best position of the seal. The almost middle position of the sealing strip guaranteed  a similar distance of the lever arm of the bolt force.

The mentioned Dimension are only valid for the welding neck flanges according DIN, ASA and MSS SP-44.
